Gordy Jones, CPA
Director of Fund Administration & Tax

Gordy is the Director of Fund Administration and Tax. His tax responsibilities include oversight of the fund practice, including private equity and venture funds, management companies, special purpose vehicles, co-investment vehicles, and blockers. Gordy is also responsible for overseeing daily operations for the fund administration practice, focusing on private equity and venture funds.

As a certified public accountant, Gordy has more than a decade of experience focusing on the investment industry, both registered and private funds. He has acted as an external consultant for complicated securities transactions related to public and private investments, master limited partnerships, hedge funds and other complex deal structures. His experience provides unique insight to the way transactions are accounted for, from both an accounting and tax perspective.

Gordy graduated from Ohio University with a B.B.A. in Accounting. He is a member of the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants (OSCPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). He also sits on the Finance Committee for the Old Brooklyn Community Development Corporation.
